Choice Merchant Solutions Launches Choice International

Hartford, CT, January 23, 2015 – Choice Merchant Solutions Launches Choice International to Bring Affordable Integrated Global Payment Processing to Domestic Businesses.

Choice Merchant Solutions announced today the launch of Choice International, a new division designed to extend the benefits of international eCommerce business to domestic clients and enable businesses to compete on a global scale.

JohnPaul Golino, CEO of Choice Merchant Solutions and serial entrepreneur, made the announcement today that Choice International will be spearheaded by Executive Director David Haselkorn, who brings decades of experience in sales, management, and the payment processing industry.

In his role as Executive Director, Haselkorn will strategize with upper management to deploy the service to a first wave of selected clients.

Choice International will serve as a conduit for domestic businesses to tap into the global ecommerce market, which is expected to grow to $2.3 trillion in 2017. Big box retailers have captured the majority of that figure, and Choice International is stepping in to help high-growth businesses take advantage of affordable international payment processing benefits.

New Year, New Leaf

Hartford, CT, January 5, 2014 – Choice Merchant Solutions Looks Ahead to 2015

With the turn of the New Year, businesses push themselves into new areas, formulate and execute new plans, and develop new products and services to complement last year’s successes. Choice Merchant Solutions is no different. The company is excited about the New Year and the possibilities it offers for our clients.

On January 18-20, Choice Merchant Solutions will be attending Affiliate Summit West 2015, an event hosted by affiliate marketers for affiliate marketers. The event will take place at Paris Las Vegas in Las Vegas, NV, where thousands of owners, executives, and merchants will congregate to discuss and enhance the industry for three days.

The main event for small and ecommerce businesses this year will be the liability shift that occurs in October 2015. The goal of the liability shift is to encourage adoption of the chip-and-pin (EMV) standard. Not all encouragement is light-handed, so the liability shift will hold merchants and issuing banks liable for fraudulent transactions.

This will be an important change in the way businesses process credit cards and will fundamentally alter the landscape for small businesses payment processing.

Other things to look out for in 2015 include increased popularity of contactless payments, which use near-field-communication (NFC) technology to enable customers to use mobile devices to pay for purchases at NFC-enabled retailers.

Sean Paul to Perform at Affiliate Ball

Hartford, CT, November 10, 2014 –Sean Paul to Perform at Affiliate Ball During Affiliate Summit West 2015

Choice Merchant Solutions will be attending the Affiliate Summit West 2015 and will be the main sponsor at the Affiliate Ball this winter. The Affiliate Summit is a three day conference for marketers that will also include educational presentations covering trends, best practices, and information from experts.

Affiliate Summit West will take place at Paris Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 18-20, 2015. The Affiliate Ball will take place at the Chateau Nightclub on January 19. The official after-hours party at the Affiliate Summit West will be the Affiliate Ball (you can see last year’s event here), which has boasted artists such as Busta Rhymes, Nelly, Three 6 Mafia, and many more. Last week, organizer Darren Blatt announced that Jamaican performer Sean Paul will headline the Affiliate Ball.

Sean Paul has been one of the most popular names in the music industry for the past decade, and has headlined dozens of large events in the Reggae and Dance genres. He has won numerous awards, including a Grammy for Best Reggae Album, and has sold over 10 million albums.

Proceeds from the event will support Hands On Hartford’s food and housing programs.

Christmas Wish

The Christmas Wish program will be celebrating its tenth anniversary of paying it forward this winter by providing much needed items to families across Connecticut. Founded by Mike Stacy (of “Allan, Mike, and Mary”) of Lite 100.5 WRCH, the program has been granting wishes for food, gifts, and clothing since 2005. The event is hosted at their radio studios in Farmington, CT and headlined by the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Clause in a horse drawn carriage.

JohnPaul Golino, CEO of Choice Merchant Solutions and serial entrepreneur, was instrumental in initiating this charitable opportunity in the Greater Hartford area.
